SONGS FOR AMY

Award winning feature film 'Songs for Amy' held its theatrical release in Ireland in May and is now available on iTunes, Googleplay, Amazon Prime, Googleplay, Hulu, DishTV, Vudu and Vimeo on Demand in N America, Ireland and UK. The DVD is available in UK and Ireland through HMV shops www.hmv.ie . The original soundtrack featuring songs written by songwriters Jim McKee and Ultan Conlon and performed by Sean Maguire is also available on iTunes.

Konrad Begg's debut film follows the plight of a struggling musician (SEAN MAGUIRE) who tries to redeem himself in the eyes of bride-to-be Amy (LORNA ANDERSON). With his relationship hanging in the balance, he hatches a plan to write the perfect album of songs, with a helping hand from his misfit bandmates.

The film also stars BARRY WARD (Jimmy's Hall), FORD KIERNAN (Still Game), KEVIN RYAN (Copper, Sons of Liberty), ROSS MAC MAHON (This Must Be The Place), PATRICK BERGIN (Sleeping With The Enemy), GAVIN MITCHELL (Still Game), JAMES COSMO (Game of Thrones), AOIBHINN MCGINNITY (Love/Hate) and rock band THE ALABAMA 3 (aka A3, who wrote and performed the theme tune 'Woke Up This Morning' from TV hit 'The Sopranos').

'Songs for Amy' has received fantastic feedback from audiences around the world, selling out at almost every festival including Galway Film Fleadh, Glasgow Film Festival, St Louis International, Boston Irish Film Festival, Hollywood Film Festival and winning the Jury Award for 'Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking' at Newport Beach Film Festival, California.
